You get more than just hands-on organizing with Synergy Organizing. After their first paid session, all clients receive free access via email to the pdf “Where to Get Rid of Your Stuff in the Iowa City/Coralville/North Liberty Area”, a 24-page comprehensive resource guide that gives you up to date information on places to consign, donate, or recycle specific types of items. After every session we will take away either items to be donated to charity or recyclable items that are accepted at Iowa City’s City Carton location at no extra charge. Additionally, clients may email us any time between sessions if they are getting stuck, and we’ll walk you through these challenges.
On a budget? We will work with you to accommodate your budget constraints. We offer 30-minute initial consultations by phone on all projects free of charge. We accept cash, check, and PayPal. If paying by credit card, please request we invoice you through PayPal. Gift Certificates are also available. Contact us for further details.
Pricing for services is as follows:
Residential
$50 per hour, per organizer/laborer, two hour minimum. Applies to jobs scheduled between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be available and will be billed at a higher rate. Two hour minimum. Evening rates are $75 per hour, per organizer/laborer. Weekend and holiday rates are $100 per hour, per organizer/laborer.
Home businesses will be billed at the residential rate.
At every session we will take away either items to be donated to charity or recyclable items that are accepted at Iowa City’s City Carton location at no extra charge (one drop point is free, additional drop points will be billed at the hourly rate). If clients have items that they want to consign or want dropped at a different location the hourly rate will apply. Additional fees may apply – an example is Landfill fees for items taken to the dump.
Iowa sales tax (6-7% depending on locality) does apply to photography services and prints, and landscape services.
Travel expenses may be billed to the client if Synergy Orgainzing is required to travel more than 30 miles from our office. Travel expenses will be billed at the hourly rate and will be discussed with the client at the initial consultation if they apply.
Commercial
$65 per hour, per organizer/laborer, two hour minimum. Applies to jobs scheduled between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
